Metro Pacific Health is founded by Manuel V. Pangilinan, currently the Chairman of the Board of MPH.

Our shareholders include Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), the largest publicly listed infrastructure company in the Philippines; Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), an American global investment fund; and Government Investment Corporation (GIC), the wealth fund of Singapore.

Metro Pacific Health Corporation (MPH), doing business as Metro Pacific Health, was incorporated in 2007 and acquired Makati Medical Center as its first investment.

No, vaccination is not mandatory, but we highly encourage our patients to get vaccinated and be protected against preventable disease. Safety screening through temperature and symptom checks are done before patients and guests are allowed to enter the medical facility.

In response to the lowered alert level set by the Philippine government, RT-PCR swab tests for patients, companions, and visitors will no longer be required, except for patients who are symptomatic or have had high-risk exposure within the last 14 days.

No, Metro Pacific Health does not have its own health card at the moment, but you may avail of prepaid health and wellness packages directly from our member hospitals.
